and they withstood King Uzziah and said to him, “It is not for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to the Lord, but for the priests, the sons of Aaron, who are consecrated to burn incense. Go out of the sanctuary, for you have done wrong, and it will bring you no honor from the Lord God.”

And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It appertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto the LORD, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither shall it be for thine honour from the LORD God.

und standen wider Usia, den König, und sprachen zu ihm: Es gebührt dir, Usia, nicht, zu räuchern dem HERRN, sondern den Priestern, Aarons Kindern, die zu räuchern geheiligt sind. Gehe heraus aus dem Heiligtum; denn du vergreifst dich, und es wird dir keine Ehre sein vor Gott dem HERRN.

Geh aus dem Heiligtum! Du hast dich über Gottes Gebot hinweggesetzt, und dafür wird der HERR dich bestimmt nicht belohnen!«

Sie traten dem König Usija entgegen und sagten zu ihm: Nicht dir, Usija, steht es zu, dem HERRN Rauchopfer darzubringen, sondern den Priestern, den Söhnen Aarons, die geweiht sind, das Rauchopfer darzubringen. Verlass das Heiligtum; denn du bist untreu geworden und es gereicht dir nicht zur Ehre vor Gott, dem HERRN.
