Doch je mehr die Israeliten unterdrückt wurden, desto zahlreicher wurden sie. Sie breiteten sich im ganzen Land aus, so dass es den Ägyptern langsam unheimlich wurde.

Je mehr man es aber unter Druck hielt, umso stärker vermehrte es sich und breitete sich aus. Da packte sie das Grauen vor den Israeliten.
