“But thus says the Lord: Like the bad figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten, so will I treat Zedekiah the king of Judah, his officials, the remnant of Jerusalem who remain in this land, and those who dwell in the land of Egypt.

And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt:

Aber wie die schlechten Feigen so schlecht sind, daß man sie nicht essen kann, spricht der HERR, also will ich dahingeben Zedekia, den König Juda’s samt seinen Fürsten, und was übrig ist zu Jerusalem und übrig in diesem Lande und die in Ägyptenland wohnen.

Aber wie mit den schlechten Feigen, die so schlecht sind, dass sie ungenießbar sind, ja, so spricht der HERR, so verfahre ich mit Zidkija, dem König von Juda, mit seinen Fürsten und dem Rest Jerusalems, mit denen, die in diesem Land übrig geblieben sind, und denen, die sich im Land Ägypten niedergelassen haben.
