Therefore I am full of the wrath of the Lord;
I am weary of holding it in.
“Pour it out upon the children in the street,
and upon the gatherings of young men, also;
both husband and wife shall be taken,
the elderly and the very aged.

Therefore I am full of the fury of the LORD; I am weary with holding in: I will pour it out upon the children abroad, and upon the assembly of young men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him that is full of days.

Dein Zorn über sie glüht auch in mir, ich kann ihn nicht mehr zügeln! Da sprach der Herr: »Gieß meinen Zorn über sie aus, damit alle ihn zu spüren bekommen: die spielenden Kinder auf der Straße und die jungen Leute, die beieinanderstehen. Alle wird es treffen, Männer und Frauen, sogar die älteren Menschen und die Greise.

Darum bin ich erfüllt vom Zorn des HERRN, bin es müde, ihn länger zurückzuhalten. — Gieß ihn aus über das Kind auf der Straße und zugleich über die Schar der jungen Männer! Ja, alle werden gefangen genommen, Mann und Frau, Greis und Hochbetagter.
