Da brachen David und seine 600 Männer wieder auf. Beim Bach Besor blieben etwa 200 von ihnen zurück, denn sie waren so erschöpft, dass sie nicht mehr weiterkonnten. Die restlichen 400 Soldaten überquerten den Bach und setzten die Verfolgung fort.

David brach also mit den sechshundert Mann, die bei ihm waren, auf und sie kamen bis zum Bach Besor. Die Übrigen machten dort Rast.
