Er gab sie in die Hand der Gibeoniter, die sie auf dem Berg vor dem Angesicht des HERRN hinrichteten; so kamen alle sieben auf einmal um. Sie wurden in den ersten Tagen der Ernte getötet, zu Beginn der Gerstenernte.

und gab sie in die Hand der Gibeoniter; die hingen sie auf dem Berge vor dem HERRN. Also fielen diese sieben auf einmal und starben zur Zeit der ersten Ernte, wann die Gerstenernte angeht.

Er übergab sie den Gibeonitern. Alle sieben wurden am selben Tag auf dem Berg bei Gibea aufgehängt, um den Zorn des HERRN abzuwenden. Man richtete sie hin, als die Gerstenernte gerade begonnen hatte.
