Asa hatte ein Heer von dreihunderttausend Mann aus Juda, die Schild und Lanze führten, und zweihundertachtzigtausend Mann aus Benjamin, die den Rundschild trugen und den Bogen spannten. Sie alle waren tapfere Krieger.

Und Asa hatte eine Heereskraft, die Schild und Spieß trugen, aus Juda 300,000 und aus Benjamin, die Schilde trugen und mit dem Bogen schießen konnten 280,000; und diese waren alle starke Helden.

Asa besaß ein Heer mit 300.000 Soldaten aus Juda; sie waren mit Langschilden und Speeren bewaffnet. Dazu kamen 280.000 Mann aus Benjamin mit Rundschilden und Bogen. Sie alle waren erfahrene Soldaten.
