Er ließ auch alle, die sich in Jerusalem und Benjamin befanden, dem Bund beitreten und die Einwohner Jerusalems hielten sich an den Bund Gottes, des Gottes ihrer Väter.

Und er ließ in den Bund treten alle, die zu Jerusalem und in Benjamin vorhanden waren. Und die Einwohner zu Jerusalem taten nach dem Bund Gottes, des Gottes ihrer Väter.

Josia forderte das ganze Volk aus Jerusalem und Benjamin dazu auf, sich diesem Versprechen anzuschließen. Von da an hielten die Einwohner von Jerusalem sich an den Bund, den sie mit dem Gott ihrer Vorfahren geschlossen hatten.
