Sieben Tage lang feierten sie voll Freude das Fest der Ungesäuerten Brote. Denn der HERR hatte sie froh gemacht und ihnen das Herz des Königs von Assur zugewandt, sodass er sie bei der Arbeit am Haus Gottes, des Gottes Israels, unterstützte.

und hielten das Fest der ungesäuerten Brote sieben Tage mit Freuden; denn der HERR hatte sie fröhlich gemacht und das Herz des Königs von Assyrien zu ihnen gewandt, daß sie gestärkt würden im Werk am Hause Gottes, der der Gott Israels ist.

Voller Freude feierten sie außerdem noch sieben Tage lang das Fest der ungesäuerten Brote. Der HERR hatte sie froh gemacht, denn er hatte dafür gesorgt, dass der König von Persien ihnen wohlgesinnt war und ihnen dabei geholfen hatte, den Tempel des Gottes Israels wieder aufzubauen.
