Damals sagte ich dem Volk noch: Jeder soll mit seinen Leuten auch nachts in Jerusalem bleiben; dann stehen sie uns in der Nacht als Wache zur Verfügung und am Tag zur Arbeit.

Auch sprach ich zu der Zeit zum Volk: Ein jeglicher bleibe mit seinen Leuten über Nacht zu Jerusalem, daß sie uns des Nachts der Hut und des Tages der Arbeit warten.

Ich hatte allen befohlen: »Übernachtet in Jerusalem, damit ihr nachts eine Wache übernehmen und tagsüber arbeiten könnt.«
