Das war das Gleiche, was der Herr für die Nachkommen Esaus getan hat, die in Seïr sitzen. Als sie vordrangen, vernichtete er die Horiter. Die Nachkommen Esaus übernahmen ihren Besitz und setzten sich an ihre Stelle. So blieb es bis heute.

gleich wie er getan hat mit den Kindern Esau, die auf dem Gebirge Seir wohnen, da er die Horiter vor ihnen vertilgte und ließ sie ihr Land besitzen, daß sie da an ihrer Statt wohnten bis auf diesen Tag.

Genauso haben die Edomiter mit seiner Hilfe die Horiter vernichtet und sich im Gebirge Seïr angesiedelt, wo sie bis heute leben.
