Steht auf, brecht auf und überquert das Tal des Arnon! Siehe, hiermit gebe ich Sihon, den König von Heschbon, den Amoriter, mit seinem Land in eure Hand. Fang an, in Besitz zu nehmen! Bei ihm sollst du den Kampf beginnen.

Macht euch auf und ziehet aus und gehet über den Bach Arnon. Siehe, ich habe Sihon, den König der Amoriter zu Hesbon, in deine Hände gegeben mit seinem Lande. Hebe an einzunehmen, und streite wider ihn.

Der Herr befahl uns: »Brecht auf! Überquert den Fluss Arnon! Ihr werdet sehen: Ich gebe Sihon, den Amoriterkönig aus Heschbon, und sein Reich in eure Gewalt. Greift ihn an! Erobert sein Land!

Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle. -
