Und es war in jenen Tagen, als es keinen König in Israel gab. Es lebte im entlegensten Teil des Gebirges Efraim ein Levit als Fremder. Er nahm sich eine Nebenfrau aus Betlehem in Juda.

Zu der Zeit war kein König in Israel. Und ein levitischer Mann war Fremdling an der Seite des Gebirges Ephraim und hatte sich ein Kebsweib genommen von Bethlehem–Juda.

Zu der Zeit, als es noch keinen König in Israel gab, nahm sich ein Levit, der am äußersten Ende des Gebirges Ephraim wohnte, eine Nebenfrau aus Bethlehem in Juda.
