Abimelech verfolgte ihn, er musste vor ihm fliehen und viele fielen erschlagen bis zum Eingang des Tores.

Aber Abimelech jagte ihn, daß er floh vor ihm; und fielen viel Erschlagene bis an die Tür des Tors.

Der aber trieb sie zurück in die Stadt. Viele kamen bei der Schlacht ums Leben, bis ans Tor war alles mit Leichen übersät.
