Samuel nahm Saul und seinen Knecht mit, führte sie in das Haus und wies ihnen Ehrenplätze unter den Eingeladenen an; es waren etwa dreißig Männer.

Samuel nahm Saul und seinen Knecht mit in die Halle, in der das Festmahl nach dem Opfer aufgetragen wurde. Er ließ sie als Ehrengäste oben am Tisch Platz nehmen. Insgesamt waren etwa dreißig Gäste zu dem Essen eingeladen.
