Als nun die Ammoniter aus der Stadt herausstürmten und angriffen, wurden einige Israeliten getötet, und auch der Hetiter Uria war unter den Gefallenen.

Und da die Männer der Stadt herausfielen und stritten wider Joab, fielen etliche des Volks von den Knechten Davids, und Uria, der Hethiter, starb auch.

Als dann die Leute aus der Stadt einen Ausfall machten und gegen Joab kämpften, fielen einige vom Volk, das heißt von den Kriegern Davids; auch der Hetiter Urija fand den Tod.
