Hoffnung für Alle
Als Salomo sein Gebet beendet hatte, stand er wieder auf. Er war zum Beten vor dem Altar des HERRN auf die Knie gefallen und hatte die Hände flehend zum Himmel erhoben.

Und da Salomo all dies Gebet und Flehen hatte vor dem HERRN ausgebetet, stand er auf von dem Altar des HERRN und ließ ab vom Knieen und Hände–Ausbreiten gen Himmel

Als Salomo dieses flehentliche Gebet zum HERRN beendet hatte, erhob er sich auf dem Platz vor dem Altar des HERRN, wo er niedergekniet war und die Hände zum Himmel ausgebreitet hatte.

Solomon's Benediction
And it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the LORD, he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven. -
