Darauf floh die ganze Bevölkerung Judas, Arm und Reich, mit den Offizieren nach Ägypten. Sie fürchteten die Rache der Babylonier.

Da machte sich auf alles Volk, klein und groß, und die Obersten des Kriegsvolks und kamen nach Ägypten; denn sie fürchteten sich vor den Chaldäern.

Dann machte sich das ganze Volk vom Kleinsten bis zum Größten mit den Truppenführern auf und zog nach Ägypten. Sie fürchteten sich nämlich vor den Chaldäern.
