Ich, Gott, der HERR, frage euch: Meint ihr, es würde mir Freude machen, wenn ein Gottloser sterben muss? Nein, ich freue mich, wenn er von seinen falschen Wegen umkehrt und lebt!

Meinest du, daß ich Gefallen habe am Tode des Gottlosen, spricht der HERR HERR, und nicht vielmehr, daß er sich bekehre von seinem Wesen und lebe?

Habe ich etwa Gefallen am Tod des Schuldigen — Spruch GOTTES, des Herrn — und nicht vielmehr daran, dass er umkehrt von seinen Wegen und am Leben bleibt?
