»Will jemand mir, dem HERRN, ein Friedensopfer darbringen und wählt er ein Rind dafür aus, so muss es ein fehlerloses Tier sein, männlich oder weiblich. Er soll es zum heiligen Zelt bringen,
seine Hand auf den Kopf des Tieres legen und es am Zelteingang schlachten. Die Priester, die Nachkommen Aarons, sprengen das Blut ringsum an den Altar.
And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of meeting; and Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall sprinkle the blood all around on the altar.
Zum Anteil, der mir als Opfer dargebracht wird, gehört alles Fett an und über den Eingeweiden,
Then he shall offer from the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire to the Lord. The fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails,
die beiden Nieren mit dem Fett, das sie bedeckt, sowie der Fettlappen an der Leber.
the two kidneys and the fat that is on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he shall remove;
Die Priester sollen es zum Altar bringen und auf das Brandopfer ins Feuer legen. Dies ist ein wohlriechendes Opfer, das mir, dem HERRN, gefällt.
and Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is on the wood that is on the fire, as an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord.
Wählt jemand für sein Friedensopfer ein Schaf oder eine Ziege aus, dann muss es ein fehlerloses Tier sein, männlich oder weiblich.
‘If his offering as a sacrifice of a peace offering to the Lord is of the flock, whether male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.
Opfert er ein Schaf, soll er es zum heiligen Zelt bringen,
If he offers a lamb as his offering, then he shall offer it before the Lord.
seine Hand auf den Kopf des Tieres legen und es vor dem Zelt schlachten. Die Priester sprengen das Blut ringsum an den Altar.
And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of meeting; and Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar.
Zum Anteil, der mir als Opfer dargebracht wird, gehört alles Fett des Schafes: der Fettschwanz, dicht beim Schwanzwirbel abgetrennt, alles Fett an und über den Eingeweiden,
‘Then he shall offer from the sacrifice of the peace offering, as an offering made by fire to the Lord, its fat and the whole fat tail which he shall remove close to the backbone. And the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails,
die Nieren mit dem Fett, das sie bedeckt, sowie der Fettlappen an der Leber.
the two kidneys and the fat that is on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he shall remove;
Der Priester verbrennt alles auf dem Altar; es ist mein Anteil am Opfer.
and the priest shall burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire to the Lord.
Will jemand eine Ziege opfern, dann soll er sie ebenfalls zum heiligen Zelt bringen,
‘And if his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before the Lord.
ihr die Hand auf den Kopf legen und sie am Zelteingang schlachten. Die Priester sprengen das Blut ringsum an den Altar.
He shall lay his hand on its head and kill it before the tabernacle of meeting; and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar.
Zum Anteil, der mir, dem HERRN, als Opfer dargebracht wird, gehört alles Fett an und über den Eingeweiden,

Der Priester verbrennt alles auf dem Altar, denn dieser Anteil gehört mir, dem HERRN. Es ist ein wohlriechendes Opfer, an dem ich meine Freude habe. Von den Opfertieren, die ihr darbringt, müsst ihr alles Fett für mich verbrennen!
and the priest shall burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire for a sweet aroma; all the fat is the Lord’s.
Ihr selbst dürft kein Fett und kein Blut verzehren! Dies ist eine ewige Ordnung, die für euch und all eure Nachkommen gilt. Wo ihr auch wohnt, sollt ihr euch daran halten.«
