Eure Gabe hätte demnach zwei gute Auswirkungen: Sie wäre nicht nur eine Hilfe für die notleidenden Christen in Jerusalem, sie würde auch bewirken, dass viele Menschen Gott danken.

Denn die Handreichung dieser Steuer erfüllt nicht allein den Mangel der Heiligen, sondern ist auch überschwenglich darin, daß viele Gott danken für diesen unsern treuen Dienst

Denn dieser heilige Dienst füllt nicht nur die leeren Hände der Heiligen, sondern wird weiterwirken als vielfältiger Dank an Gott.
