Da nahm Hanun die Knechte Davids und schor ihnen den Bart halb und schnitt ihnen die Kleider halb ab bis an den Gürtel und ließ sie gehen.

Da nahm Hanun Davids Gesandte gefangen, ließ ihnen den Bart auf einer Seite abrasieren und die Kleider bis über das Gesäß abschneiden. Dann jagte er sie davon.

Darauf ließ Hanun die Diener Davids festnehmen, ihnen die Hälfte des Bartes abscheren und ihnen die Kleider zur Hälfte abschneiden, bis zum Gesäß herauf. So schickte er sie weg.
