So nehme nun mein Herr, der König, solches nicht zu Herzen, daß alle Kinder des Königs tot seien, sondern Amnon ist allein tot.

Darum, mein Herr und König, nimm das Gerücht nicht allzu ernst, dass alle deine Söhne umgekommen seien. Bestimmt wurde nur Amnon getötet.«

Mein Herr, der König, nehme sich die Sache nicht so zu Herzen und denke nicht: Alle Söhne des Königs sind tot. Nur Amnon ist tot.
