So rufet ihr an den Namen eures Gottes, und ich will den Namen des HERRN anrufen. Welcher Gott nun mit Feuer antworten wird, der sei Gott. Und das ganze Volk antwortete und sprach: Das ist recht.

Dann ruft ihr, die Propheten von Baal, euren Gott an; ich aber werde zum HERRN beten. Der Gott nun, der mit Feuer antwortet, der ist der wahre Gott.« Die ganze Volksmenge rief: »Ja, das ist gut!«

Dann sollt ihr den Namen eures Gottes anrufen und ich werde den Namen des HERRN anrufen. Der Gott, der mit Feuer antwortet, ist der wahre Gott. Da rief das ganze Volk: Der Vorschlag ist gut.
