Und er ließ des Königs Sohn hervorkommen und setzte ihm eine Krone auf und gab ihm das Zeugnis, und sie machten ihn zum König und salbten ihn und schlugen die Hände zusammen und sprachen: Glück zu dem König!

Nun führte Jojada ihn heraus, um ihn zum König zu krönen. Er setzte ihm die Krone auf, gab ihm das Königsgesetz in die Hand und salbte ihn zum König. Da klatschten alle und riefen: »Hoch lebe der König!«

Dann führte Jojada den Königssohn heraus und überreichte ihm den Stirnreif und das Bundeszeugnis. So machten sie ihn zum König, salbten ihn, klatschten in die Hände und riefen: Es lebe der König!
