Und der HERR hatte nicht geredet, daß er wollte den Namen Israels austilgen unter dem Himmel, und half ihnen durch Jerobeam, den Sohn des Joas.

Weil der HERR das Volk Israel nicht auslöschen wollte, half er ihnen nun durch Jerobeam, den Sohn von Joasch.

Er hatte nicht im Sinn, den Namen Israels unter dem Himmel auszutilgen. Darum half er ihnen durch Jerobeam, den Sohn des Joasch.
