Darum verwarf der HERR allen Samen Israels und drängte sie und gab sie in die Hände der Räuber, bis daß er sie verwarf von seinem Angesicht.

Da verstieß der HERR das ganze Volk. Er ließ zu, dass feindliche Heere in das Land einfielen und es ausplünderten. So bestrafte er sein Volk und wandte sich von ihm ab.

Darum verwarf der HERR das ganze Geschlecht Israels. Er demütigte sie und gab sie Räubern preis; schließlich verstieß er sie von seinem Angesicht.
