Und laßt euch Hiskia nicht vertrösten auf den HERRN, daß er sagt: Der HERR wird uns erretten, und diese Stadt wird nicht in die Hände des Königs von Assyrien gegeben werden.

Er vertröstet euch auf den HERRN und behauptet: ›Ganz sicher wird der HERR uns retten und verhindern, dass der König von Assyrien die Stadt erobert.‹ Fallt nicht darauf herein!

Er soll euch nicht verleiten, auf den HERRN zu vertrauen, und sagen: Der HERR wird uns sicher retten und diese Stadt wird dem König von Assur nicht in die Hände fallen.
