Hiskia aber sprach zu Jesaja: Das ist gut, was der HERR geredet hat, und sprach weiter: Es wird doch Friede und Treue sein zu meinen Zeiten.

Hiskia sagte nur: »Der HERR weiß, was er tut; ich beuge mich seinem Urteil. Wenn nur zu meinen Lebzeiten noch Frieden und Ruhe herrschen!«

Hiskija sagte zu Jesaja: Das Wort des HERRN, das du mir gesagt hast, ist gut. Und er dachte: Wenn nur zu meinen Lebzeiten noch Friede und Sicherheit herrschen.
