Und Hiskia sandte hin zum ganzen Israel und Juda und schrieb Briefe an Ephraim und Manasse, daß sie kämen zum Hause des HERRN gen Jerusalem, Passah zu halten dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels.

Hiskia sandte Boten durch ganz Israel und Juda. Sie sollten das Volk zum Tempel nach Jerusalem einladen, um für den HERRN, den Gott Israels, das Passahfest zu feiern. Auch den Bewohnern von Ephraim und Manasse schickte er Boten mit einer Einladung.

Hiskija sandte Boten zu ganz Israel und Juda, schrieb auch Briefe an Efraim und Manasse und forderte sie auf, zum Haus des HERRN nach Jerusalem zu kommen und zur Ehre des HERRN, des Gottes Israels, das Pessach zu feiern.
