Hiskia aber bestellte die Priester und Leviten nach ihren Ordnungen, einen jeglichen nach seinem Amt, beider, der Priester und Leviten, zu Brandopfern und Dankopfern, daß sie dienten, dankten und lobten in den Toren des Lagers des HERRN.

Hiskia teilte die Priester und Leviten wieder in Dienstgruppen ein, so wie es früher gewesen war. Zu ihren Aufgaben gehörte das Darbringen der Brand- und Friedensopfer, verschiedene Dienste im Tempel, Loblieder und Musik.

Hiskija stellte die Abteilungen der Priester und Leviten nach ihren Dienstklassen auf. Er wies alle Priester und Leviten einzeln in ihren Dienst ein und bestellte sie zum Vollzug der Brand- und Heilsopfer, zu Dienstleistungen und zum Vortrag der Dank- und Lobgesänge an den Toren des Lagers des HERRN.
