Und ich sprach zu den Leviten, daß sie sich reinigten und kämen und hüteten die Tore, zu heiligen den Sabbattag. Mein Gott, gedenke mir des auch und schone mein nach deiner großen Barmherzigkeit.

Den Leviten befahl ich, sich zu reinigen und die Stadttore zu bewachen, damit der Sabbat nicht wieder verletzt würde. Denke daran, mein Gott, wie ich mich für dich eingesetzt habe! Hab Erbarmen mit mir, denn deine Gnade ist grenzenlos!

Den Leviten aber befahl ich, sie sollten sich reinigen und sich als Wächter an die Tore stellen, damit man den Sabbattag heilighalte. Auch dafür denk an mich, mein Gott, und sei mir gnädig in deiner großen Huld!
