Da sprach Memuchan vor dem König und den Fürsten: Die Königin Vasthi hat nicht allein an dem König übel getan, sondern auch an allen Fürsten und an allen Völkern in allen Landen des Königs Ahasveros.

Memuchan antwortete: »Königin Wasti ist nicht nur am König schuldig geworden, sondern auch an seinen Fürsten und am ganzen Volk in allen Provinzen des Reiches.

Da sagte Memuchan zum König und zu den Fürsten: Nicht nur gegen den König, sondern auch gegen alle Fürsten und alle Völker, die in all den Provinzen des Königs Artaxerxes leben, hat sich Königin Waschti verfehlt.
