Denn Ägypten ist Mensch und nicht Gott, und ihre Rosse sind Fleisch und nicht Geist. Und der HERR wird seine Hand ausrecken, daß der Helfer strauchle und der, dem geholfen wird, falle und alle miteinander umkommen.

Die Ägypter sind doch nur Menschen und nicht Gott; ihre Pferde sind aus Fleisch und Blut und haben keine göttliche Kraft. Der HERR braucht nur drohend seine Hand zu erheben, schon stolpert der Helfer, der Hilfesuchende stürzt, und alle beide kommen um.

Denn die Ägypter sind Menschen und nicht Gott und ihre Pferde sind Fleisch und nicht Geist! Streckt der HERR seine Hand aus, so strauchelt der Helfer und es fällt der, dem geholfen wird. Alle miteinander sind sie am Ende.
