Der HERR nannte dich einen grünen, schönen, fruchtbaren Ölbaum; aber nun hat er mit einem großen Mordgeschrei ein Feuer um ihn lassen anzünden, daß seine Äste verderben müssen.

Früher wart ihr für den HERRN wie ein grünender Ölbaum, der herrliche Früchte bringt. Doch nun höre ich Feuer prasseln: Der Herr hat den Baum angezündet, die Zweige bersten.

Einen üppigen Ölbaum von schöner Gestalt hatte der HERR dich genannt. Wenn der gewaltige Lärm ertönt, legt er Feuer an ihn, sodass seine Zweige hässlich werden.
