Dies sind die Worte in dem Brief, den der Prophet Jeremia sandte von Jerusalem an die übrigen Ältesten, die weggeführt waren, und an die Priester und Propheten und an das ganze Volk, das Nebukadnezar von Jerusalem hatte weggeführt gen Babel

Der Prophet Jeremia schickte aus Jerusalem einen Brief an die Sippenoberhäupter, die Priester, die Propheten und alle anderen, die den Angriff der Babylonier überlebt hatten und von Nebukadnezar nach Babylonien verschleppt worden waren.

Das ist der Wortlaut des Briefes, den der Prophet Jeremia aus Jerusalem an den Rest der Ältesten der Verbannten, an die Priester, die Propheten und das ganze Volk sandte, das Nebukadnezzar von Jerusalem nach Babel verschleppt hatte,
