Denn der Verstörer wird über alle Städte kommen, daß nicht eine Stadt entrinnen wird. Es sollen beide, die Gründe verderbt und die Ebenen verstört werden; denn der HERR hat’s gesagt.

Der Feind zieht heran und verwüstet ganz Moab; keine Stadt bleibt verschont. Ob unten im Jordantal oder auf der Hochebene — alle trifft das gleiche Los, so wie ich, der HERR, es angekündigt habe.

Der Verwüster kommt über jede Stadt, keine Stadt kann sich retten. Verheert wird das Tal, verwüstet die Ebene — wie der HERR gesagt hat.
