Ihre Angesichter waren vorn gleich einem Menschen, und zur rechten Seite gleich einem Löwen bei allen vieren, und zur linken Seite gleich einem Ochsen bei allen vieren, und hinten gleich einem Adler bei allen vieren.

Jedes sah anders aus: Vorne war das Gesicht eines Menschen, rechts das eines Löwen, links das eines Stieres und hinten das eines Adlers.

Die Gestalt ihrer Gesichter aber war: ein Menschengesicht, ein Löwengesicht bei allen vier nach rechts, ein Stiergesicht bei allen vier nach links und ein Adlergesicht bei allen vier.
