Ich erhob aber zur selben Zeit meine Hand, daß ich sie führte aus Ägyptenland in ein Land, das ich ihnen ersehen hatte, das mit Milch und Honig fließt, ein edles Land vor allen Ländern,

Ich verspreche, euch aus Ägypten herauszuführen und in ein Land zu bringen, das ich für euch ausgesucht habe. Es ist ein Land, in dem es selbst Milch und Honig im Überfluss gibt, das prächtigste weit und breit.‹

An jenem Tag erhob ich ihnen meine Hand zum Schwur, dass ich sie aus dem Lande Ägypten herausführe in ein Land, das ich für sie erkundete, in dem Milch und Honig fließen. Ein Schmuckstück ist es unter allen Ländern.
