Nach etlichen Jahren aber werden sie sich miteinander befreunden; und die Tochter des Königs gegen Mittag wird kommen zum König gegen Mitternacht, Einigkeit zu machen. Aber ihr wird die Macht des Arms nicht bleiben, dazu wird er und sein Arm auch nicht bestehen bleiben; sondern sie wird übergeben werden samt denen, die sie gebracht haben, und mit dem, der sie erzeugt hat, und dem, der sie eine Weile mächtig gemacht hatte.

Nach einigen Jahren verbünden sich die beiden Reiche miteinander, und um den Frieden zu festigen, heiratet die Tochter des Königs im Süden den König im Norden. Doch sie kann ihren Einfluss nicht behaupten, und das Bündnis zerbricht. Sie kommt um, ebenso ihr Mann, ihr Vater und ihr Gefolge.

Nach Jahren schließen sie dann ein Bündnis, und um den Frieden zu bekräftigen, kommt die Tochter des Königs des Südens zum König des Nordens. Doch sie verliert die Macht und auch ihr Kind bleibt nicht am Leben; zu der Zeit wird sie dem Untergang preisgegeben, sie, ihre Begleiter, auch der, der sie gezeugt hat, und der, der sie zur Frau genommen hat.
