( Über diese setzte er drei Fürsten, deren einer Daniel war, welchen die Landvögte sollten Rechnung tun, daß der König keinen Schaden litte.

Sie waren drei hohen Beamten am Hof unterstellt, denen sie Rechenschaft geben mussten. Die drei vertraten die Interessen des Königs. Einer von ihnen war Daniel.

Über diese wieder setzte er drei oberste Beamte, zu denen auch Daniel gehörte. Ihnen sollten die Satrapen Rechenschaft ablegen, damit der König keinen Schaden erleide.
