Du sollst das Recht nicht beugen und sollst auch keine Person ansehen noch Geschenke nehmen; denn die Geschenke machen die Weisen blind und verkehren die Sachen der Gerechten.

Bei euch soll es gerecht zugehen, und niemand soll in einem Prozess bevorzugt werden. Nehmt auch keine Bestechungsgeschenke an. Denn solche Geschenke machen selbst weise Menschen blind und verleiten dazu, das Recht zu beugen.

Du sollst das Recht nicht beugen. Du sollst kein Ansehen der Person kennen. Du sollst keine Bestechung annehmen; denn Bestechung macht Weise blind und verdreht die Fälle derer, die im Recht sind.
