Das fünfte Buch Mose (Deuteronomium) 24:13

sondern sollst ihm sein Pfand wiedergeben, wenn die Sonne untergeht, daß er in seinem Kleide schlafe und segne dich. Das wird dir vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott, eine Gerechtigkeit sein.

Gebt es ihm auf jeden Fall noch am selben Abend zurück! Dafür wird er euch segnen, denn er braucht es nachts als Decke. Wenn ihr euch daran haltet, dann tut ihr, was in den Augen des HERRN, eures Gottes, gut und richtig ist.

Bei Sonnenuntergang sollst du ihm sein Pfand zurückgeben. Dann kann er in seinem Mantel schlafen, er wird dich segnen und du wirst vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott, im Recht sein.

In any case thou shalt deliver him the pledge again when the sun goeth down, that he may sleep in his own raiment, and bless thee: and it shall be righteousness unto thee before the LORD thy God.
