Solches Land nahmen wir ein zu derselben Zeit. Von Aroer an, das am Bach Arnon liegt, gab ich’s den Rubeniter und Gaditern samt dem halben Gebirge Gilead mit seinen Städten.

Als wir das Ostjordanland eingenommen hatten, gab ich den Stämmen Ruben und Gad die südliche Hälfte mit allen Städten. Dieses Gebiet erstreckt sich von Aroër am Fluss Arnon im Süden über das halbe Bergland von Gilead nach Norden.

Dieses Land nahmen wir damals in Besitz. Von Aroër an, das am Arnontal liegt, einschließlich der Hälfte des Gebirges Gilead und ihrer Städte, übergab ich es den Rubenitern und Gaditern.
