Alle Gebote, die ich dir heute gebiete, sollt ihr halten, daß ihr darnach tut, auf daß ihr lebet und gemehrt werdet und hineinkommet und einnehmet das Land, das der HERR euren Vätern geschworen hat.

Haltet euch genau an alle Gebote, die ich euch heute weitergebe! Dann werdet ihr am Leben bleiben, euer Volk wird immer größer werden und das Land einnehmen, das der HERR euren Vorfahren versprochen hat.

Ihr sollt das ganze Gebot, auf das ich dich heute verpflichte, bewahren und es halten, damit ihr Leben habt und zahlreich werdet und in das Land, das der HERR euren Vätern mit einem Schwur versprochen hat, hineinziehen und es in Besitz nehmen könnt.
