Da aber die Sonne war untergegangen, gebot er, daß man sie von den Bäumen nähme und würfe sie in die Höhle, darin sie sich verkrochen hatten. Und sie legten große Steine vor der Höhle Loch; die sind noch da bis auf diesen Tag.

Als die Sonne unterging, befahl er, sie herabzunehmen und in die Höhle zu werfen, in der sie sich versteckt hatten. Der Eingang wurde mit großen Steinen verschlossen, die noch heute dort liegen.

Bei Sonnenuntergang befahl Josua, sie von den Bäumen abzunehmen und in die Höhle zu werfen, in der sie sich zuvor versteckt hatten. Dann wälzte man große Steine vor den Eingang der Höhle; sie liegen dort bis zum heutigen Tag.
