Da zogen Pinehas, der Sohn Eleasars, des Priesters, und die Obersten aus dem Lande Gilead von den Kindern Ruben und Gad wieder ins Land Kanaan zu den Kindern Israel und sagten’s ihnen an.

Dann ließen Pinhas und die israelitischen Führer die Stämme Ruben, Gad und den halben Stamm Manasse im Land Gilead zurück und machten sich auf den Weg ins Land Kanaan. Dort erzählten sie, was geschehen war.

Dann verließen der Priester Pinhas, der Sohn Eleasars, und die Fürsten die Rubeniter und Gaditer und kehrten aus dem Land Gilead ins Land Kanaan zu den Israeliten zurück. Sie berichteten ihnen alles

And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, and the princes, returned from the children of Reuben, and from the children of Gad, out of the land of Gilead, unto the land of Canaan, to the children of Israel, and brought them word again.
