Da nun das Volk auszog aus seinen Hütten, daß sie über den Jordan gingen, und die Priester die Lade des Bundes vor dem Volk her trugen

Das Volk brach seine Zelte ab und war bereit, den Fluss zu überqueren. Vor ihnen gingen die Priester mit der Bundeslade.

Als dann das Volk seine Zelte verließ und aufbrach, um den Jordan zu überschreiten, gingen die Priester, die die Bundeslade trugen, an der Spitze des Volkes.
