Da machte das Volk ein Feldgeschrei, und man blies die Posaunen. Denn als das Volk den Hall der Posaune hörte, machte es ein großes Feldgeschrei. Und die Mauern fielen um, und das Volk erstieg die Stadt, ein jeglicher stracks vor sich. Also gewannen sie die Stadt

Die Priester bliesen ihre Hörner, und die Soldaten stimmten das Kriegsgeschrei an. Da stürzte die Mauer von Jericho ein. Die Israeliten stürmten die Stadt von allen Seiten und eroberten sie.

Darauf erhob das Volk das Kriegsgeschrei und die Widderhörner wurden geblasen. Als das Volk den Hörnerschall hörte, brach es in laut schallendes Geschrei aus. Die Stadtmauer stürzte in sich zusammen und das Volk stieg in die Stadt hinein, jeder an der nächstbesten Stelle. So eroberten sie die Stadt.
