Und da es das fünfte Siegel auftat, sah ich unter dem Altar die Seelen derer, die erwürgt waren um des Wortes Gottes willen und um des Zeugnisses willen, das sie hatten.

Jetzt brach das Lamm das fünfte Siegel auf. Ich sah unten am Altar all die Menschen, die man getötet hatte, weil sie sich treu an Gottes Wort gehalten und bis zuletzt ihren Glauben bekannt hatten.

Als das Lamm das fünfte Siegel öffnete, sah ich unter dem Altar die Seelen aller, die hingeschlachtet worden waren wegen des Wortes Gottes und wegen des Zeugnisses, das sie abgelegt hatten.
